American Forces Network Afghanistan provides stateside radio and television programming, "a touch of home," to U.S. service men and women, and Department of Defense civilian employees serving in Afghanistan through a combination of live, locally produced and satellite-based news, information, and entertainment. The military broadcasters assigned to AFN Afghanistan perform a myriad of duties, from producing TV news stories and newscasts to hosting live radio shows and producing informative spots.
