For the first 18 years of her life, she lived in a rural village in the heart of the Kootenay Mountains. Her experiences there, as well as her love of the remote wilderness in which she was raised, has inspired her to write music which directly reflects their influence. Since the release of Anilah’s first EP “Warrior” in 2014, Dréa has been fascinated with the interplay between creativity, psyche, and nature. Reciprocal creativity. Anilah is also a contributing vocalist on a new music app for psychedelic psychotherapy called Wavepaths, and is deepening her exploration into the therapeutic potentials of music and psychedelics.
