Steve Greene is the happy triker, having been pedaling here and there on recumbent trikes since 2009, when he transitioned from cars to human powered cycling. He has owned an ICE Qnt, a Catrike 700, an ICE Full Fat, an Easy Racers Gold Rush, two diamond frame bicycles, and currently rides a 2021 HP Velotechnik Scorpion fs26 Enduro. He has authored eleven books, and is a noted authority on Death Valley National Park, human powered cycle touring, health and fitness, bodybuilding, and professional law enforcement. Steve has not owned a petroleum powered automobile since 2008, as part of his environmental preservation paradigm. He is an avid bodybuilder (since 1968) and cyclist. He thrives on a whole food plant-based diet, exercises regularly (bodybuilding, hiking, cycling), and enjoys exploring the wilderness, beyond the bounds of human dominance. Harmony with nature tops his priorities.
