Hey! We are Dylan and Lauren. Longtime landlubbers with an itch for change; a deep desire to pursue an alternative lifestyle far away from the constraints of the consumer world. We have long wished to live a simpler, more wholesome life filled with experiences, not things. Adventure to feed the soul, challenge to build the character and nostalgia to fill the heart. In November 2017, after years of dreaming, planning, saving, wondering, worrying, questioning, and finally feeling 'right'... we purchased our first sail boat in Darwin, Australia. With little-to-no sailing experience we have faced a contrast of conflicting opinions; considerable resistance, excitement and overjoy, scorn and ridicule or the surprisingly reassuring 'good for you' nods of approval. Follow our journey as we sail our floating home up to Indonesia to explore beautiful volcanoes, marine lakes, towering waves and underwater worlds.
