In September, 2011 David Stapp and Jesse Ashe, then students at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, had a vision to take their passion for filmmaking and establish a network of creative minds that worked together as a unit. Within this network, filmmakers could evolve their craft beyond the confines of a classroom that taught outdated techniques and in turn, create a production community that focused on honing their potential through new high definition guerrilla processes. With this framework at its core, the community became known as B&G Studios and throughout 2011 and 2012 created short films that earned recognition around the US. After graduating college the group decided to become an official business and this is their result.
