Hi I'm Steve, I started building my first bicycle frame in 2015 out of a small single car garage. I began looking into building a frame in 2013 when I took a TIG welding class and a machining class at the Crucible in Oakland CA. While these classes gave me a good background in both disciplines, they were not quite enough to cover all the stuff I needed to know in order to build my first frame. From there I ventured out and started a YouTube channel. I got a lot of help from the viewers of the Pithy Bikes Channel. Thank you all! What a journey! We finished our first frame in September 2016.
