Opentrons Robotics makes accessible, open source lab robots for life scientists. Our mission is to provide the scientific community with a common platform to easily share protocols and reproduce each other's results. Our liquid handling robots automate experiments that would otherwise be done by hand, allowing our users to spend more time pursuing answers to some of the 21st century’s most important questions. Opentrons’ flagship product, the OT-2, can be found in thousands of labs in more than 40 countries. Our community is automating the most common and time-consuming manual processes in molecular biology, including NGS library prep, DNA and RNA extraction, PCR setup, and protein purification.
