I grew up mostly as a military brat. My father was in the Air Force for 20 years. I joined the U.S. Navy in 1993, then I retired in 2013. I stopped working in October of 2013. I've had many jobs in the Navy from dirty work, undesignated work, Boatswains mate, Cryptologist (CTR), worked at NSA, and other agencies. I got in a little trouble towards the end of my career so I ended up as a Boatswain's Mate again. Ships that I've worked on: USS Stout DDG-55 (plank owner), USS BlueRidge (COMSEVENTHFLT Staff), CVN-74 USS John C Stennis. Shore commands: NSA, Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Agency, Naval Security Group Activity, Naval Support Activity Bahrain, and Port Operations Yorktown, Virginia.
