Last week we lined up DNO's 2019 Ski-Doo MXZ XRS 600R etec out of break-in mode approx 2000km to race against my 2012 Renegade X 800etec with about 8000km on the odometer. The Skidoo x-rs 600R is completely bone stock and the 800R is slightly modified with a Bondi Airbox, 2 degree timing advance and some additional clutch work to liven it up a bit over stock. It just came back from Back Yard Recreation BYR from its pre-season checkup and it is running top notch for this head to head review. The 2019 Ski Doo 600R e-tech is 125HP and has a 129" skid. He is running a 1.25 Ripsaw with approx 90 studs. The 2012 Ski-Doo Renegade 800R e-tec is 163.9+ HP and has a 137" Skid. I am running a 1.25" IceRipper (Prestudded) with an added 96 studs to that track. This drag race versus showdown should not have been close, but that little 600R give me a run for my money.
