In this video tutorial of Ethical Hacking and Kali Linux, I am going to show you the different techniques of changing or modifying permission in Linux. The hacking and penetration tools that you download from the internet or you create by yourself do not always have permission to execute, so you need to understand the concept and know how to modify permission in Linux. Permission is access right over a file or directory to a particular user or group of users to allow or restrict read, write and execute access rights. To know more about chmod command and all the other available options read it’s manual page with man chmod.
