How to Dougie: http://bit.ly/DOUGIE Ticking is a way of moving your body with clock-like motions. First learn the fundamental movements and then incorporate ways of moving your whole body together.  Arm Ticking During every one of these motions, move the arm or arms in small increments, like the ticking of a clock's hand. 1. Start with your right arm at your side. Raise the right hand upwards. Move the right hand above your head and then wave it to the left side. Once your hand reaches your left shoulder, cross it back to the right side. 2. Now start ticking your left hand out to the left side while your right hand continues to tick over to the right side.  3. When both hands are extended to the sides, start ticking them back towards the center and cross them in front of your body.  Legs and Arms After you've mastered the basic arm ticking movement, you can incorporate leg and hand movements to perform before it. This part is basically taking two steps forward with a strobing effect, only you'll be adding ticking to those steps. 1. Pick up your right foot and bring it forward and then down in a series of ticking movements. Lean your weight forward into the step.  As you do this, bring your left arm up to the front of your body and bend it at the elbow, breaking down the movement into ticks. At the same time, drop the right arm down to your side.  2. Now pick up your left foot and step forward in a similar series of ticking movements.  As you do this, bring your right arm up across your body and bend the elbow in a ticking motion. Drop the left arm to your side. 3. From there, move into the basic arm ticking movement that you already practiced.
