Baisan ke Laddu Recipe in English: Ingredients: -Cheeni (Sugar) 1 & ½ Cups -Pani (Water) 1/4 Cup -Ghee 1 tbs -Ghee ½ Cup -Baisan (Gram flour) sifted 2 & ½ Cups -Ghee 1 tbs -Yellow food color 1/4 tsp or as required (optional) -Pani (Water) 2 tbs -Elaichi powder (cardamom powder) 1/4 tsp -Badam (Almonds) sliced 1 tbs -Pista (Pistachios) sliced1 tbs -Char maghaz (Dried melon seeds) chopped 1 tbs Directions: Prepare Boora: -In wok,add sugar and water,mix and cook on medium flame for 2-3 minutes & keep mixing in between. -Add ghee,mix continuously and cook for a minute then move it to a cool surface and keep stirring until cools down.Boora is ready! -In wok,add ghee & let it melt. -Add gram flour,mix continuously and cook on medium low flame for 6-8 minutes or until fragrant. -Add ghee and mix well. -Add yellow food color,mix continuously and cook for 4-5 minutes. -Sprinkle water,mix well and cook for 2 minutes. -Move it to a cool surface and mix continuously until cools down to room temperature. -Add cardamom powder,almonds,pistachios,dried melon seeds and mix well. -Now add prepared boora and mix until well combined. -Take a mixture and make laddu of equal sizes (makes 12). -Garnish & serve! Recipe in Urdu: Ajza: -Cheeni (Sugar) 1 & ½ Cups -Pani (Water) 1/4 Cup -Ghee 1 tbs -Ghee ½ Cup -Baisan (Gram flour) sifted 2 & ½ Cups -Ghee 1 tbs -Yellow food color 1/4 tsp or as required (optional) -Pani (Water) 2 tbs -Elaichi powder (cardamom powder) 1/4 tsp -Badam (Almonds) sliced 1 tbs -Pista (Pistachios) sliced1 tbs -Char maghaz (Dried melon seeds) chopped 1 tbs Directions: Prepare Boora: -Karhai mein cheeni aur pani dal ker mix karein aur darmiyani ancch per 2-3 minutes kliya paka lein aur bech bech mein chamcha chalatay rahein. -Ghee dal ker musalsal mix kertay rahain aur ek minute kliya paka lein phir cool surface per rakh dein aur musalsal stir kertay hoye thanda ker lein.Boora tayyar hai. -Karhai mein ghee dal ker melt karein. -Baisan dal ker musalsal mix kertay rahein aur darmiyani halki ancch per 6-8 minutes ya khushbu anay tak paka lein. -Ghee dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein. -Yellow food color dal ker musalsal mix kertay rahein aur 4-5 minutes kliya paka lein. -Pani sprinkle ker ka ache tarhan mix karein aur 2 minutes kliya paka lein. -Thandi jagha per rakh dein aur musalsal mix kertay hoye room temperature per thanda ker lein. -Elaichi powder,badam,pista aur char maghaz dal ker ache tarhan mix karein. -Ab tayyar boora dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein. -Mixture ko lein aur ek jaisay sizes ka laddu tayyar ker lein (makes 12). -Garnish ker ka serve karein.
