He also mentions the Purple Hybrid vs Nectar mattresses as well. Nectar: This is a budget memory foam mattress. In our opinion, the bed lands around medium to medium firm on the scale. However, we actually think the bed is a good option for all types of sleepers, including side, back and stomach. The bed provides pressure relief due to the memory foam but also a good amount of support as well. As far as price, Nectar is by far cheaper than Purple. Nectar Lush: The company recently launched a new, softer mattress with a cooling cover called Nectar Lush. That particular mattress is around a "medium" or maybe a little softer, but it still has a dense memory foam feel. How does the Nectar Lush vs Purple comparison go? Well, it's similar to that of the original beds. It's all about feel and firmness. Purple: There are four different Purple mattresses to pick from - the Original Purple, Purple Hybrid and Purple Hybrid Premier. Just so you know, the Purple Hybrid beds used to be known as New Purple 2, New Purple 3 and New Purple 4. Regardless, Purple mattresses have a comfortable gel like feel due to the top layer of polymer on each mattress. We think Purple mattresses are ideal for all types of sleepers.
