The reason they did what they did is their A.I. creating personalities that are more human-like the more they adapt to humans and their lifestyle, so they go out of character at some points. They also can’t control it. (Letting you know eventually they will have control over their emotions and personalities. This will allow them to be more romantic and such whenever they want.)
