While we have The Last of Us HBO series to look forward to, Naughty Dog's The Last of Us game director Neil Druckmann (The Last of Us, The Last of Us 2) offered some insight on why The Last of Us movie never happened. Speaking on the Script Apart podcast, Neil Druckmann said that they were given notes to make the set pieces on The Last of Us movie bigger, which ultimately led to the downfall of The Last of Us franchise as a film. It's a shame we never got The Last of Us movie. But where the video game movie failed, The Last of Us series HBO seems poised to succeed. Given the format of small screen action/drama shows, the team working on The Last of Us series can pace the show similar to the video game and not have to rely on large-scale action sequences. It'll be some time till we see a The Last of Us HBO trailer, as filming for The Last of Us show begins in July. We'll have to wait and see the influences taken from both The Last of Us and The Last of Us part 2 #TheLastofUs In other entertainment news, a Russian man who was trapped on a Chinese reality TV show was finally voted off, after three months of pleading to be cut loose. According to The Guardian, the Russian man, "Lelush", real name Vladislav Ivanov, initially signed up to be a contestant on Produce Camp 2021. And finally, the movie that has widely been considered for decades to be the best film ever made has lost it's perfect Rotten Tomatoes score after the discovery of an 80-year-old review. The classic Orson Welles' film, Citizen Kane, apparently received a negative review from a film critic back in 1941. The Chicago Tribune published review was found by the Rotten Tomatoes' Archival Project, and added to the Citizen Kane review page. Because of this, Paddington 2 is now the top-rated film on Rotten Tomatoes. All this on today's episode of IGN's The Fix: Entertainment with Akeem Lawanson! #IGN
