Jacking of the Horotane Overpass on ramps as part of earthquake rebuild work in Christchurch. Initiative Engineering completed all steel work for the jacking operations. In total there are four abutments to be elevated up to 400mm. The smaller on ramp sections weigh 150 tons each. A challenging and exciting project to be involved with. Well done to the FCC team.
