ABB builds the world's most advanced transformers - developed, built and tested in Ludvika, Sweden. Transformers have been made since 1900 in Ludvika earning this technology an important place in local history, so the local community decided to turn one into a landmark. Developing this technology required expertise from around the world and creating this landmark was a collaboration between local businesses, government and residents, because it’s not just a landmark.
