Described by Mitsubishi as a 'game changer' at the launch of the diesel-powered Outlander, the Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (or PHEV) is a full-sized SUV that's apparently capable of 148mpg. It'll run for 32 miles on battery power alone, and it can go off-road. What's not to like?
