You will hear the expressive capabilities of the Seaboard using the sounds included with GarageBand (all sounds available on iPad and iPhone). GarageBand on iPad is MPE compatible. I play the piano, drums, guitar, cello/strings, and synth pad. I combine all instruments into a song. The iPad is a nice portable song writing or music producing tool and the Seaboard Block makes a nice companion keyboard controller.
