The Queen and The Duchess of Cornwall have taken part in a video call to recognise and thank volunteers from the Royal Voluntary Service (RVS), as the charity marks one year since the launch of the NHS Volunteer Responders Scheme. Her Majesty and Her Royal Highness are Patron and President of the Royal Voluntary Service respectively. The Royal Voluntary Service has been at the forefront of mobilising volunteers since the outbreak of Covid-19, recruiting almost 1 million volunteers since the pandemic began
