RoboCatheter: A Cable-Driven Parallel Robot

RoboCatheter is a cable-driven, remotely-actuated, MRI compatible, parallel-robot which was primarily designed to assist with non-invasive medical interventions under MRI. This robot was designed and manufactured in Dynamic System Control Laboratory, Mechanical Engineering Department, University of Houston, from 2011-2013. In this short video we review the design and actuation of the robot.
