ACDelco tips for installation of winter wiper blades for narrow push button arms. First, determine if you have a wide or narrow push button by using a penny to measure the wiper arm. Next, remove the pre-attached wiper arm adapter on the wiper blade and replace with adapter “BC.” Identify the release tab on the pre-attached adapter and push the tab down while sliding the adapter back towards the release tab. Locate adapter “BC” and lower it into the cavity at the top of the blade. Slide adapter “BC” away from the adapter release tab until it clicks into place. Press the tab on the front of adapter “B” and lift shim “C” off adapter “B.” While holding the front of the adapter, pull the blade onto the underside of the wiper arm until the button on the top of the adapter locks into the hole on the wiper arm. Before use make sure the wiper blade adapter is locked onto the wiper arm.
