Any questions feel free to ask in the comments! ------ My Twitch - https://www.twitch.tv/beirbones Follow me on Twitter! - https://twitter.com/beir_bones ------- Method One - Open up Registry Editor as Administrator (Or type regedit into Command Prompt as Administrator). - Make a Backup of your registry by clicking file in the top left then click Export and save the Registry backup. - Now click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE - Click open SOFTWARE - Click open Policies - Click open Microsoft - Open the Windows Folder - Right click the Windows folder and select New - Click Key and Create a New Key Called "GWX" - Click onto GWX (The new folder you've just created) - Right click GWX and click DWORD (32-bit) Value - Type "DisableGWX" into the DWORD - Hit Enter Now that this is saved in your Registry you can now restart your Computer and be free from Get Windows 10 :D Method Two - Open up Task Manager and find GWX and right click then click End Task (If GWX isn't there in Task Manager and the Icon at the Taskbar has already gone if you've done Method One then skip this step) - Open up your File Explorer or This PC. - Go to your C Drive or wherever your Windows Operating System is installed. - Open the windows folder - Open System 32 - Scroll Down to GWX - Right Click GWX and click on Properties - Click Security - Click Advanced at the bottom - Next to Owner there is a change button which should be highlighted click that - Whatever your "From This Location" part says type that in then put "\Administrators" WITHOUT QUOTATIONS! - Mines is MENZIES-PC\Administrators - Click Check Name if it underlines you know you have the correct one - Hit Okay - In the Advanced Security Settings box hit Apply - Click Okay when the pop up Prompts - Click Okay again on the GWX Properties box - Right Click GWX again and click properties - Click Edit - Now Edit the "Administrators" Group and give it Full Control - Click Apply - Click Okay at the Security prompt which pops up - Now you can go Ahead and Delete the GWX Folder For the 64 bit version do the same again but you will find the GWX Folder in C:\Windows\SysWOW64 (Ignore the Task Manager Part) ------- Music - Vexento - Return of the heroes ● https://twitter.com/Vexento ● https://soundcloud.com/vexento/tracks ------ No copyright infringement intended.
