Brutal Doom Tomtefar's Edition is an addon that you must load together with vanilla Brutal Doom v21 to make it work, it changes several things. Tomtefar's Edition brings you a very powerful Revolver, Remote C4 Charges to throw, Automatic Grenade Launcher, BFG10K, Mastermind's Chaingun and more stuff to fire. Darkened Outpost might seem first as a quite easy level to complete, but don't be so overcondifent - it's full of nasty traps and ambushes. This map introduces all possible monsters in Doom II Hell On Earth roster, except Spider Mastermind so sorry, you will have no chance to use the Autocannon. Yep, you will encounter several Archviles during the course of this map (even quite early in playthrough) so have your Chaingun ready against them. It also introduces a boss fight against Cybedermon near the end of the map, but with a small twist that I will not reveal to you in the description :). If you find a Marine that is going to help you in one of the secrets, be aware because he can block your movement in small areas, I died once because of it. You will meet also a lot of Revenants here (since the beginning), some of them are very far away from you, so do not hesitate to pick them as first targets. There are also some Cacodemons and unfortunately the Pain Elementals that if left alone for a while, will spam the map with several Lost Souls. But Revenant's Missile Launcher is a very powerful weapon in Tomtefar's Edition, use it against flyers as much as possible, you will love it.
