This Space Engineers tutorial covers building a ship that will be able to get from the surface of a planet all the way up into orbit/space from the surface of a large planet. This is a guide to building a small ship but the principles apply to a large ship as well. To enhance this further you may want to add drills and an ore detector for more efficient drilling once in space, I didn't want to cover that here as I like to leave enhanced designs up to you because building and designing is what Space Engineers is about. Hopefully there is enough information in this video to help those who are struggling to leave their starter planet with hydrogen thrusters. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask them in the comments and I'll reply as soon as I can. If you're interested in seeing what can be done with Space Engineers once you've got a good handle on it, have a look at Light Echoes, it's a machinima series that I direct and edit and was written by Capac Amaru. It's over on my main channel https://www.youtube.com/zebramonkeys If you have any tutorial topics you'd like me to cover in the coming videos please let me know in the comments. If you've got burning questions about how to do something, ask here and I'll do my best to answer or try in the official keen discord as you'll find the community pretty friendly when you're asking for help with something. As always, don't forget to enjoy this awesome (if at times buggy) game!
