My first impressions of the Spyderco Tencaious and the Kershaw Skyline knives. They are the first Spyderco and Kershaw knives I have the privilege of owning; mainly due to their outstanding price point ($30.10 & $25 from Amazon). Overall, the Tenacious is wider and seems more durable than the Skyline. The Skyline is sleek and trim, which it seem more like an 'executive's knife'. I'm not that good at opening the Skyline because I lack the experience with the flipper design. The Tenacious opens flawlessly for me! The Tenacious has a very nice grip, especially because it has the very useful thumb knurling, whereas the skyline has no knurling whatsoever for thumb traction.
