Download your free issue of Gypsy Jazz Guitar Secrets here: http://www.GypsyJazzSecrets.com - iTunes http://www.GypsyJazzSecrets-Android.com - Google Play In this video I’ll teach you 3 essential 'Minor' chords we play in Gypsy Jazz. I got a question from Martin Lawson who was asked “Could you show some basic arpeggios to help me start improvising and getting to know the fretboard?” In this vid I demonstrate some solid arpeggios for major & minor that I use to help me build improvisations and solos. Minor: 1. Gm6 starting on the bottom F# and ending on the E natural 2. Gm6 starting on the 3rd (Bb) 3. Gm starting om the 10th fret A string (G) with your pinky Major: Same but with major 3rds (B natural) Don't be stuck and limited by an arpeggio but instead free yourself up and fill in the gaps. The arpeggios and shapes give you the starting point but take it the step further by adding chromatics extra notes. Free up the fretboard! It’s about learning these small gems and absorbing them into your playing that will make you a better player. If you have a question fire away I'd love to answer it. Send me an email at questions@gypsyjazzsecrets.com Have fun and swing out! Robin
