We use the Awesome Oscillator to measure the market momentum and affirms trends. Technical analyst Bill Williams developed the indicator. Like other oscillator, it oscillates between a certain ranges. The Awesome oscillator calculates the difference of a 5 period and 34 period simple moving averages. It also helps to anticipate upcoming possible reversal. There are many profit-making strategies of the oscillator. Like, you may open a sell position when the indicator is below the zero line and buy position when it is above the zero line.
