Fried Morel Mushrooms!

After a tiring day of looking for morels and wild asparagus around town we decided to shoot this impromptu recipe video for fried morels! One of our favorite ways to eat these tasty mushrooms. This recipe will also work with other mushrooms that hold up well to frying! Recipe: 1lb of morels, large ones cut in half 2 cups of flour, seasoned as you like, We used salt, pepper, paprikaaaaa, garlic powder, and cayenne 2 eggs with a splash or water or milk, we used buttermilk Veggie oil to almost cover mushrooms in pan Mushrooms get double flour coated with and egg wash in between. This creates a more crispy crust after frying. Fry for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy. Enjoy! These are great with homemade aioli, or your preferred dipping sauce!
