"Lucas the Spider" reaction: Astrid doesn't come out often, but generally takes some time to reconnect when she does. I gave her a drink of fresh water, and we hung out for a bit watching spider videos on youtube. It seems to hold all of their interest. Most of them will sit and watch for extended periods, ocoassionally tilting their head. Astrid reacted to Lucas with a bit of surprise. She is now self conscious about having too many eyballs, that she is not as cute (which she is), and insists that's not how spider eyes work. I'm still trying to explain animation to her.
