Chinatown is one of the most visited places in Singapore by tourists. The place is relatively packed and is filled with souvenir shops selling "Uniquely Singapore" products. That said, this place is still Chinatown for a reason, as it is filled with tonnes of Chinese (from Mainland China) tourists, as well as Chinese (Sze Chuan, etc) restaurants. While this place might be a tourist trap, it sure is a place that you should visit if you happen to be here in Singapore. The buildings, streets and temples here are gorgeous and the shopping streets looks nothing like anywhere in Singapore.
