As part of my pending review on the newly released Leica 2800.COM LRF, I decided to run an extra endurance test on my Kestrel 5700 Elite ballistic meter. The test included several days of exposure to single-digit temps and heavy winds, then progressed to leaving the Kestrel powered on for 38 hours while it was exposed to two snow storms and more freezing temps. I left the Bluetooth connection on, and periodically checked for connectivity, alternating between hooking up with the Leica 2800, and observing conditions via the LiNK App on my iPad.
