Pastry cups: a unique idea to surprise your guests!



INGREDIENTS Dough:  150 g unsalted butter  130 g icing sugar  2g salt  1 egg  1 yolk  5 ml vanilla extract  240 g flour  25 g cocoa powder  30 g of almond powder   Vanilla condensed milk cream  220g (1 cup) thick custard  140 g of whipped cream METHOD Beat butter at room temperature. Add icing sugar, salt, and mix. Add an egg and mix again. Add yolk and mix again. Add vanilla extract, mix. Mix flour, cocoa, and almond powder in a bowl. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture. Form a square with the mixture, wrap in cling film and refrigerate for an hour. Flatten the mixture until it is about 5 mm thick then freeze for 5 minutes. Then cut out heart shapes and circles. Place 3 heart shapes in the silicone mold to form the edges of the cup. Place a circle on the base. Put some baking powder in the center of the mold and fill with baking beans. Bake for 15 minutes at 180 °C (356 °F). With the rest of the dough and pizza cutter, form several cup handles and bake for 10 minutes at 180 °C (356 °F). Cover each bowl with melted chocolate and attach the cup handle.
