Now this was definitely something interesting. OY-VKF Arrived on 23R and I didn't think much of it, but as it taxied down Alpha I noticed as it passed that the left winglet was nowhere to be seen. This certainly shocked me and caught my attention. Upon doing some research it was apparently removed so they could measure the fuel efficiency whilst flying with only one winglet. A330's are one of only a few types of aircraft that are both certified to fly without a winglet and also fly without a winglet whilst carrying passengers.
