This is a tutorial on a Mermaid Tail Braid. There are many versions of this braid out there. This version is definitely "tight and tidy" versus many "big and messy" ones you may see. This braid is a series of ponytails arranged to form a braid. I recommend starting with wet hair because of all the "pulling" of the ponytails "up and over" other ponytails. It is very easy to pull extra hairs through. I also used mousse on my daughters hair before starting to control flyaways. Have fun braiding!
