Inspiration can come from anywhere, at anytime, with many great ideas coming to us when we least expect it, regardless of skill or experience. Even more so when you’re first starting out in your software career, or new to a team, product, technology, or all of the above, it can often feel overwhelming to even know where to start, let alone know where you want to end up. In this talk, Owen would like to share some of the collective experiences and practices myself and peers of mine in the Rhode Island technology community I’ve been fortunate to work with have gathered over our varied careers. For anyone who has always had that “lightbulb” moment, we hope our collective successes (and failures!) can help everyone realize a way to craft their own workflow, so that together, we can all become stronger advocates of our own success.
