Today, Brooklyn is going to show y’all how she creates her #DIY Milkmaid Braids! Every time that she wears her hair like this, she gets SO many compliments on it! I wanted her to show you how she does it on herself so you can see how easy it is to achieve! 🤗 To see your own photo recreations of this style featured in our app, feel free to tag your photos on IG with: #CGHMilkmaidDIY Step-by-Step Instructions: Step 1: Part your hair down the middle and separate into 2 sections. Step 2: Complete a 3 strand braid (starting at the bottom of the ear) on each section of hair. Secure each braid with an elastic. Step 3: Pancake the braids to make them look fuller (make them as fluffy as you like - the messier, the better!) Step 4: Tuck up the right braid and pull the end of the braid over the top of the head to the other side. Secure with bobby pins. Step 5: Tuck up the left braid, pulling the end of the braid over the top of the head to the opposite side. Step 6: Hide the end of the left braid under the right braid (to give the illusion of a continuous braid). Secure with bobby pins. Step 7: Pull out some face framing pieces to soften the look. Step 8: Fluff the braid a little more if you desire more volume, and pin any flyaway hairs down with bobby pins.
