How to Create and Save Playlist in VLC Media Player on Windows 10? Step 1: Open VLC Media Player. Step 2: Click on 'View' tab in top menu, and then click on 'Playlist.' Step 3: Right Click on the right section in Playlist Window, and then click on 'Add File.' Step 4: Now, go to the place where you have your media files that you want to add to playlist. Step 5: Select the files. Note: you can add multiple files by pressing 'ctrl' button on keyboard, and left clicking on the file while holding the 'ctrl' button. when you are done release the 'ctrl' button. Step 6: After that, click on 'Open' button, and your media files will be addded to playlist. Step 7: In order to save the playlist, select all files. After that, right click on it, and then click on 'Save Playlst to File...' Step 8: After that, go to the destination where you want to save the playlist. Give it a name. Select format 'XSPF.'
