I used 1 OZ of Seam Grip to do the external side of the canopy (except for the seams above the vestibules). I used the entire 1 OZ tube. It would have taken another tub to do the complete canopy and the tent seam(s). 1 OZ cost about $8 at a local sporting goods shop. I've only used the tent for two nights so far (dry weather, less than 40 degrees). Once I was by myself (6'2"), and the next night I was with two of my kids (cramped but manageable).
