To better understand this house with attitude, The Binger thought it’d be a good idea to compare some of the Harry Potter cast to their book characters. Specifically, we’re looking at Slytherin characters from JK Rowling’s seven books. We’re staying away from Cursed Child and Fantastic Beasts, because, well, it’s for the best. We don’t want them spoiling our party. You probably assume we’ll be covering your basic Slytherin’s like Crabbe and Goyle, and you’d be right. Of course, there’s more to the home of the legendary Salazar Slytherin, than just the Malfoy family and friends. Two famed Hogwarts professors, Horace Slughorn and Severus Snape, were both students in Slytherin. Then, of course, there are the evil people who helped create the Slytherin misconceptions. That’s right, looking at you Voldemort, and you too, Bellatrix Lestrange! Heck, the Black family seems to constantly ride the fence between Gryffindor and Slytherin at all times! This list is about more than just who’s on it though, we can promise you that. It’s about what differences there are in the personality and physical appearance. Okay, the Harry Potter movies are great, but they leave out crucial details. Details that add layers of complexity to these dark wizards. The Malfoys and Snape get a better wrap up in the books.
