Garmin Vivoactive 4 unboxing vs Garmin Instinct

۱.۸ K

It is time to swap out my Garmin Instinct with the Vivoactive 4. My original plan was to grab a Garmin Venu while working in Calgary but being that all the functions are identical to the Vivoactive 4 and I can get it today - I went for the Vivoactive 4. I was really impressed with the previous generation (Vivoactive 3) when I had it for a few weeks, so this updated version should be interesting. If you are doing regular workout routine, you should be able to charge this watch once a week or every 10 days. This is general lifestyle watch where you have lots of activities to record as opposed to the instinct where I felt it was missing something. So the difference between the Vivoactive 4 and 4s is just the smaller watch face. The price is the same, But i think the regular version is the one to get. Why did I want to replace the Garmin Instinct? Well, I felt that the watch was an outlier of their design mantra. The Instinct was totally different than all other watches, including no Connect IQ downloads. So I saw this watch as a pure replacement to the Garmin fenix 5 or 6 if you do not want to spend the luxury price. The instinct is a great alternative to the fenix. But back to the Vivoactive 4, first thing I noticed was that the charging port (same as Instinct and Forerunner 945, fenix5) has a different color for the pins. I wonder if this is to reduce the occurence of skin rash. The Garmin Instinct was the first Garmin product where I got a skin rash while wearing normally. It appears that the Vivoactive 4 has a different wrist band so I have a feeling that skin rash issues will go down a lot with this. 🛰️Latest Garmin Products 🛰️ 🛒 Accessories For Your Garmin 🛒 🚴 #FatBike and #BikePacking Gear 🚴 🚛 #Truckcamping Gear List 🚛 🛒AMAZON IDEA LISTS🛒 - - - - - - - - - - - 🔗 WEBSITE 🔗 📻 PODCAST 📻 Find us on iTunes & Stitcher, search for "Avoiding Chores" 📧 MAILING LIST 📧 🌟POPULAR PLAYLISTS 🌟 Garmin Tutorials Garmin inReach Tutorials Outdoor Recreation - - - - - - - - - - - What better way to avoid chores than to watch videos from an array of related topics based in Nova Scotia.
